The total credit and debit card spend in the beauty and barbershop industry across the UK hit £3.5 Billion during 2014 with £1 Billion (28%) credit cards sales and a huge £2.5 Billion (72%) debit card sales.

With a combined 83.6 million transactions made by both credit and debit cards, the average spend per transaction is £42. That works out to be an average yearly spend of £54 per person living in the UK

The beauty and barbershop industry is going from strength to strength with stable growth year on year. This positive trend is set to continue in the years to come.
