Black Friday Fever is almost upon us. In fact eight days before the real Black Friday and Amazon has already slashing prices. So will Black Friday spread its wings further in the future and run for days, even weeks before the event? It may be already happening as retailers cash in on pre-Christmas shopping bonanza’s.

With over a week to go before the main event Amazon is already cutting prices on tech across the board with some items seeing 30% off RRP’s.

Is your business ready for Black Friday 2017?

The retail giants certainly know how to cash in with the likes of Argos, Currys PC World, John Lewis, Game, Very, NewLook, La Redoute, Boots, Mothercare and Morrisons all jockeying for position.

When is Black Friday 2017?

This year Black Friday is on Friday 24th of November so if you are a small retailer it’s not too late to get involved. By offering at least one offer on your products and services you can create some valuable awareness for your business.

You maybe an MOT or tyre business looking to drum up some pre-Christmas sales. What better than to run a cheeky black Friday deal for 24 hours? Maybe you are a restaurant owner and think your business maybe excluded from this type of marketing. Wrong! You can easily create a dining offer for the weekend of the 24th November.

By utilising some quick thinking on social media you can jump in on the hashtag over the next few days and drum up business and awareness of your restaurant. Something as simple as a free wine offer, or half price dining or two-for-one offer could be a great way to bring in new customers.

Even Beauty Salons, Florists, Furniture Shops, Hotels and other retail shops can get involved. It’s not too late if your business hasn’t taken advantage of Black Friday marketing deals.
